Studworks
Australian manufacturer of zinc-coated metal profiles — hundreds of product codes brought online as a filterable trade catalogue.

What did they need?
Studworks sells technical products with technical variables. A single ceiling batten exists in multiple base material thicknesses, lengths and pack quantities, each with its own product code. Published as flat, individual listings, that catalogue becomes unusable — hundreds of near-identical entries with no way to narrow down. Trade customers needed to find the exact code they were after in seconds, not scroll through a wall of results.
What we did
We restructured the entire catalogue into variable products — 46 product families covering roughly 271 variations — so each family has one page and customers select their configuration from there. Base material thickness, length, size and pack quantity were built as global attributes, which powers a variation-level filter on the products page. Categories were rebuilt around how the trade actually shops: stud wall systems, suspended ceiling grid, direct fix ceilings, finishing profiles, clips and accessories.
Our impact
Studworks' full range is now browsable and filterable online, with every product code discoverable and mapped to correct weights and pack quantities. Customers can self-serve product specifications instead of calling a branch or working from a PDF, and the structured attribute system means new lines can be added without rebuilding the catalogue. The site now supports all three branches with a single source of product truth.
